Menifee’s iconic 4th of July celebration will look a little different this year. Due to the recent events, all celebratory events and activities have been cancelled with the exception of the dramatic Firework Show! This year’s display will be even bigger, with all the budget being spent on fireworks. It’s set to light up the sky with wondrous colors and sparkles for all to witness. Residents are encouraged to watch the show from parked cars or neighboring houses. This is going to be one 4th of July celebration you won’t want to miss!

On May 18, 2006, he was just 3 months into a 7-month deployment when he came across and dismounted a lead security convoy and became the victim of an IED explosion. His rehabilitation is ongoing, but now with the help of The Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation, who builds specially-adapted, custom-designed Smart Homes for our most catastrophically injured veterans, Corporal Jeffers is well on his way to a new beginning! With a brand-new, mortgage-free home at Dakota at Audie Murphy Ranch in Menifee, Corporal Jeffers will now have the home of his dreams. This special event is open to the public so don’t miss your chance to be a part of bringing Corporal Jeffers home. The city of Menifee will also be having a VA 5k in the morning and it is expected to end at 11 a.m.

Join 300+ guests for an all-inclusive night of espionage and philanthropy at the Wines for Canines & Kitties: Fur Your Eyes Only fundraiser, sponsored by the Animal Friends of the Valley. This charity event benefits homeless and abandoned animals in the community, and will offer a fabulous evening of dinner, dessert and music. The secret-agent theme guarantees plenty of thrills for a great cause, so be there on September 28th when the action starts at 6:30 p.m. at the Wilson Creek Winery in Temecula.

Bring a blanket and enjoy the Movie in the Park feature on June 21st, Ralph Breaks the Internet. Vendor booths open at 5 p.m., the concert starts at 6:30 p.m. and the movie screens at dusk. It’s going to a fun-filled morning, so bring the family to Menifee’s annual Spring Fest and celebrate the highly anticipated Grand Opening of the community’s Central Park. Hop to it and enjoy plenty of festivities and activities at the city’s newest park amenity, including egg hunts for children ages 0-13, an inclusive egg hunt, and photos with the Easter Bunny! Menifee’s Spring Fest will take place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 30268 Civic Plaza Drive.
Young children will have a great time hunting for eggs and visiting with the Spring Bunny! This year’s Menifee Spring Fest will have a Kid’s Zone, numerous vendors, plus fun games and activities. The egg hunts will be broken down by age groups, and kids up to 12 years old can participate. This special event is March 23rd from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Mayfield Park, so hop to it!
